BACK TO SCHOOL

As you know I am in the dental hygiene program at ISU. It is really hard and time consuming. So what I am saying is I am practically falling off the face of the Earth for about two years. I might not blog as much anymore, but hopefully Cameron will take over to keep everyone updated. Wish me luck, and if you need your teeth cleaned I can do it after this semester, I really will need volunteers so just leave me a message!!

Crane Reunion

Well, this weekend was the last hora before the dreaded start of the semester! I actually started school Friday, but Cameron doesn't start until Tuesday. Cameron got to float the river in Lava, that is where the reunion was, but I was in school. It looked like a lot of fun and I am sorry I had to miss it. Cameron, John, and almost everyone else had some cool battle wounds from the river! That night we had a volleyball game at camp, it was really fun. Then we just sat around the fire and talked, played, and just enjoyed each other's company. The next day we got up and went for a day swimming at Lava. We played volleyball, again and a lot, went down the slides, and played in the pool. Nate did crazy tricks off the platforms, but he is crazy like that, darn kid;) Then we went back to camp. We ate, and then we had another "friendly" game of volleyball, by that time everyone was starting to get really mouthy and talk a lot of trash, Zack and Cody;) It turned out really fun, we always enjoy getting together and just hanging out. We had to leave early Sunday because I had homework, dumb I know, and Cameron had to work. We were sad to leave because we were having so much fun. It was a great last weekend to end on!

Reunion, Fair, Fires, Berries, and Shopping

It has been the craziest week, really the week to top all weeks this time! Before the Kunz reunion, my grandma McCleod came down to say hi. My dad built a fire pit in our backyard so we had the inaugural fire! We also helped my mom get her room ready for school. Monday, my mom and I went over to Logan. We met my grandma McCleod for a day of shopping. The first order of business, shoes for clinic, not my favorite item to shop for on account of my freakishly small feet! We found some in the kid's section of Shoe Carnival, I also got some nicer shoes, as well. Then we went scrubs shopping. My mom and grandma went nuts, I got a lot of really nice pairs. We then went to see Momma Mia, an excellent movie I might add! The next days were filled with going to the fair. Tuesday we went to the derby, we even convinced both my parents to go with us, my mom has never been. It was ok, no fire or roll-overs though. Wednesday was the parade. Thursday, we went to everything from 4:00pm on, the hypnotist, illusionist, and rodeo. Friday, we got up early and went huckleberry picking with Cameron's family. It was fun, and we got alot of berries, considering Cameron ate them faster that I could pick, love ya babe! Then we had a weeny roast with the Cranes. We snuck into the rodeo to see Cameron's cousin Tyson ride a bull, he stayed on for about a second, bad draw I think. Saturday, we had the lunch and auction. It was one of a kind. They are really funny, and crazy people. I was glad I got to meet alot of Cameron's Dad's family, I didn't know past the immediate family on that side. Then we went back to the fair for the singing competition. It was really good, there were alot of really talented singers, I would have hated being a judge. Then we just chilled and hung out with my mom, this is the last time we will see her for a few weeks because school is starting for all of us. It was a fun last weekend in Bear Lake!

Kunz Reunion

Yet another reunion. This time it was the Kunz, my dad's family if you didn't know. We had a hot dog cookout at my uncle Griff's house on Friday. We had fun just sitting around BSing with each other. Then on Saturday we went to the lake. We had a potluck lunch, and then headed down to the lake for some fun in the sun. It was really nice to just sit in the water and talk. My cousin Jared had fun dunking Tarhea, his girlfriend's son Cameron, and me, we couldn't dunk him. Then Tarhea and I talked in the lake while the Camerons and Boedenn went in and played in the sand. That night we took a jeep ride over to Griff's house to see my cousin Monte. He had bike trouble so he didn't get into town till later Saturday. It was so fun to see all my family, we are really spread out. It was weird to not have my Grandpa or RoseMary there, but it was still a really fun reunion.

Butch Cassidy Days

We hosted the Bear Lake All-Night Men's Softball Tournament this weekend. It was really crazy, I stayed up for at least 38 hours strait, no naps! I took score for at least 17 hours in a row! I had to direct the tournament when Shane, Zack, and Cameron were playing. We were sooo shorthanded. It was really just Shane, Zack, Cameron, and Me, with a few others here and there making the thing tick. It was soo rugged, but fun looking back. Saturday was Butch Cassidy Day, we went to the shoot out and PBS was there. They filmed it and it is going to be on TV, little Montpelier on TV! We had a good chat with my cousin Amanda and her husband Nate. They were at the tournament because Nate playes for Fathead. We then went to the park to the craft fair and the dinner. It was way to expensive so we went and ate at the Ranch Hand, I highly recommend it! Then we watched fireworks with my aunt Dana and Christopher. They were some of the best fireworks I have seen in Bear Lake for a while. All in all it was a really fun, but tiring and frustrating weekend.

Jeep Ride

Last night my family went on a jeep ride. My dad has a 1947 Army Jeep, like the ones in the world war II movies. We love going on rides in it. We went up Paris canyon and over to Sleights canyon and down. We say a lot of cows, and three deer. We took Mya and she kept trying to get on the top of the jeep, she is such a stinker! Well tonight the All-Night-Men's-Softball Tournament begins. It will be fun, I hope. Tomorrow we will see;)
