Crazy Summer!

This summer has been so crazy! It rained most of June, but we went and I watched Cameron umpire baseball games. Then we went to Reno for my friend Jackie's wedding. After I started managing the Montpelier City Pool, for all us old farts the Fisher Inn. That took most of my life, and all of a sudden, summer was gone. We stayed up at the all night softball tournaments, and Cameron golfed, a lot! That was pretty much the summer!

Fishing

Last weekend we got to go fishing, a lot. We went to the rearing pond on Thursday, where I kicked Cameron's trash. Then on Friday we were able to go out on Cameron's dad's boat. Cameron, Jeff, Ralph( a good family friend), Kayloni, and I spent all day trolling. We had a slow start, and the trolling motor was being temperamental. Ralph caught a trout early and then nothing, no fish! We went out after Jeff fixed the motor, and trolled the other way. Then Ralph got a bite, he let Kayloni try and reel it in, but we lost the fish. Then I got a bite! Cameron held the pole and I reeled. I had a five pound cutthroat trout. I was so excited! We had such a fun time just sitting on the boat BSing about the good old days. I hope we can do this a lot this summer!

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day, I hope everyone is having a good time. I also hope that we remember the great men and women we are dedicating this day to. I am very thankful I was born into a family that taught me how to appreciate our great country. I am also very thankful to the many members of my family, community, and country for giving their time and sometimes their lives to keep our country free. Thanks to all who fight for the freedom that we all take for granted.

Our Weekend

This weekend we were able to go home! Saturday morning Cameron and my dad rented a jack hammer and busted up the concrete pad by our barn. It took them all morning, and they were really sore after! Mom and I sat outside and gave our moral support:) My grandma McCleod came down for prom and it was fun to see her for a minute! Then, we went to prom to watch the cousins, they all were so beautiful! Tessa was crowned prom queen, exciting! The triplets were also beautiful, but my camera was being dumb and none of their pictures worked out:( We had such a fun time, and can't wait to be there almost full-time this summer! Only three more weeks to go!

What Is This?

Today it was sunny, and if you live in Idaho right now you know what I am talking about. We have had the craziest weather lately, really snow and lightning weird. So here is some proof that the sun really does exist and sometimes the sky really is blue:)

Spring Break

Well, despite feeling really picked on because we only get to go home for two days, Spring Break started really good. Saturday, Cameron had to umpire at Century. He really likes it, but the JV game left a little to be desired:) Then we went and watched our adopted brother Gunner play baseball for ISU. He did a really good job! Then we went out to Blackfoot to hangout with the guys, Nathan, Gunner, and IA (Tanner). They played ultimate pong and poker, it was a good time! We miss hanging with our friends. I had a good time with Kayloni talking and starting the Twilight movie. We started it at about 2am, so Loni fell asleep, then the boys came down to watch it with me. Cameron was out fast and so way Gunner. We didn't finish the movie because Cameron started snoring, so I made him go to bed. All in all, we had a fun time! Hopefully, it was a good start to a good and much needed break!
