Our New Arrival

We had a new arrival join our family this weekend. Our fish decided to have a baby! We didn't even know she was pregnant, but when we got home there was a little orange dot in our tank. We looked closer and sure enough, there it was! We had to go to Petco and get a separation tank so the other fish don't eat him. He is really cute, but the bad news is that this kind of fish can have up to 60 babies over months!! She can save her eggs and only give birth to anywhere from 1-20 at a time. I don't know what we will do with all the little fish, but we will figure it out! Wish us luck!

Jeff Foxworthy on Idaho

If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't work there, you live in Idaho .

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you live in Idaho .

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number, you live in Idaho .

If 'vacation' means going anywhere south of Salt Lake City for the weekend, you live in Idaho.

If you measure distance in hours, you live in Idaho.

If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once, you live in Idaho.

If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C' and back again in the same day, you live in Idaho.

If you install security lights on your house and garage but leave both unlocked, you live in Idaho.

If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Idaho.

If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you live in Idaho.

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph, you're going 80, and everyone is still passing you, live in Idaho[or Utah more likely:)].

If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Idaho.

If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction, you live in Idaho.

If you find 10 degrees 'a little chilly' you live in Idaho.

Happy Almost Halloween

Happy Halloween early! It has been a heck of a couple weeks. We have just ran. I have had two weeks of midterms, like at least ten tests/competencies a week, and Cameron had hunting, deer jerky making, football, work, and school. It is only going to get busier! This year we are learning all our instruments, there are six, in five weeks! Ya at least one QA, quality assessment, every week. That is nuts!! Just take my word for it! It will be ok, I hear it gets better, and I do really like what I am doing, I would just like more time to learn it in. So, that is what we have been up to. Just the everyday living:)

HAPPY FIRST SNOW!

It finally happened, not really it is kinda early this year. The first snow has come, and it was a good one, too. For those of you that love this time of year as much as I do you understand. For all you others who are not big fans of cold and snow, summer should be coming around again, in about eight months:)! Oh, Cameron got his deer on Saturday, it is a pretty wide three point. He is really excited. That is about all for know, ENJOY THE SNOW!

Crazy

I had the craziest weekend. I don't have much time, but here it is in a nut shell. I an the VP of the homecoming committee for ISU Dental Hygiene. We are building a float for the homecoming parade. I volunteered to build the lumberjack, a tooth, and some toothbrushes, huge toothbrushes. My mom helped me a lot, and I think it turned out really good. Look at my mom's blog for pics. You really need to see it to see how crazy the project really was!

Trip Home

I have officially been away from home the longest time ever this last stretch, 7-8 weeks. So we went home this weekend. Cameron left Thursday night so he could go hunting. I went home Friday after school. When I got there I just sat out on our porch and talked. I just sat and enjoyed the air, scenery, and cows coming home. I love fall in Bear Lake, it is my favorite! Then, later that night we, my mom, dad, and I, Cameron was still hunting, went on a jeep ride. We always take Mya, but I decided we should take Mochee, too. We went down to the bird refuge. On our way home, the jeep broke down. My dad called his brother and he came and got him and Mochee. My mom, Mya, and I stayed with the jeep. About a half an hour later my dad came back. He couldn't find his tow rope, but he brought a flashlight. Turns out, a wire had just came loose, so he fixed it and drove the jeep home. The next day Cameron went on a morning hunt and was back by the time I woke up, ha ha! We just relaxed and watched movies and cows all day. That night, after a really good dinner, Cameron and I went on a four-wheeler ride up behind Nounan. We say four deer, a weird four-point, a two-point, and a doe with a fawn. I called and got three answers from elk. I brought one in across a meadow, it was really cool! Then we went home and went to bed. It was such a fun weekend! I love going home!

What A Man

These past few weeks, me selling my soul to dental hygiene and all, have been some tough ones. Cameron has stepped right up. He has made dinner most of the nights. He has cleaned the house and done most of the dishes. He has been such a big help to me. He has been my therapist for the days when I am overwhelmed and say I am going to quit. My masseuse for the long clinic days when my back is killing me, and also, he has just been there to be vented upon. I am so glad that I was so lucky in getting a guy like him. He is so willing to help where ever he is needed, almost to a fault. I just wanted to thank him for all the things he has done, even though I don't always say it, it really means a lot to me! I love ya!

Tagged!

Seven quirks about me, lets see.

1. I have to have ironed scrubs, even though they will wrinkle because I sit down all day, I still have to have them wrinkle free when I put them on.

2. I still sleep with stuffed animals, and know so does Cameron, ha ha!

3. I have to buy anything I touch because I think I will offend it or hurt its feelings, so I try not to tough anything when shopping.

4.I have to put a personal tough on everything I put in my house, wood burn store bought frames, paint plastic pots...

5. I set up Christmas the day after Halloween, I would do it sooner, but Cameron wont let me.

6. I make up dialogues for the animals I see and perform them in funny voices for Cameron when we are in the car, or at our house, or walking, pretty much whenever I see and animal.

7. I refer to almost everything lately by it's scientific name, like femur...

Still Here

Just a little up date. I am still alive, but only just, ha ha. I am just studying and taking tests, and being just generally overwhelmed. However, I am really good at lunch, though. We are just hanging out in Pocky, livin' the dream:) I think I am going crazy, but dental professionals are suppose to be a little quirky, at least that is what they tell us! I hope everything is going great for everyone! Play a lot then tell me about it so I can live vicariously through you, ha ha! Anyway, talk to ha'all later!

I Lived!

Well, I lived through the first week of classes mostly unscathed. I learned a lot already! I was a pretty overwhelming week, full of new and interesting things and experiences. I learned how to wash my hands and clean my unit. I also learned where to put my chair in relation to the sides and location of the teeth I am looking at. I also got to be the patient, it was alright and we didn't really do anything major so it wasn't scary at all. It was really tiring, but I have made a lot of knew friends already, and I think it will be fun but hard.
On Saturday my mom, grandma, aunt Chris, aunt Dana, Jaimie, and Payge came up to Pocky. Cydney had her first college cross-country meet. She did really well, 16th in all, I think, and 4th for ISU. After the race my grandma took us out to lunch. We went to Red Lobster! It was awesome, we were all excited, being poor college students and all:)! It was really fun to see them, I really miss not being home and around them. Oh, and a special thanks to grandpa for buying lunch!
My home away from home!

Funny binkey!
