Uncle Doug was one of the most loving people I have ever known. He loved his family most of all. He was always ready for a camping expedition, a family dinner, or a family game. He loved coming over and having a good talk. He also loved to go fishing. Once, there were two women in his spot when we were fishing at Montpelier reservoir. He went right down and sat in between them. He turned and asked one for a worm, after that they talked all afternoon. He was always so happy to be with people. He loved sports, and would always go to what ever was going on at the high school. He was a great loving person, and he will be greatly missed.

Uncle Doug was great. He always went to all the games he could. He loved his family dearly. I cant believe he is gone. I sure hope Grandpa BOB takes care of an awesome uncle.
WE will all miss him! My family misses seeing him in church every sunday!
He was an awsome guy. The thing he wanted most in life it seemed to me was to always do what's right. He tried his best and he loved your whole family very much and talked of you often.
